Scarlett had so much fun! I wish I had gotten more pictures, because Mal and Scarlett walked around holding hands the whole time. I didn't get any pictures of her with Hannah (Heather's other 3 year old niece). Maybe next time.

Cruising

Cardiology Update

 

Scarlett's cardiology appointment is (finally) on Monday, October 18th. It's our last visit with our wonderful cardiologist, Dr. Foerster, before she moves away. :( We don't yet have the reschedule date for the Lung Perfusion Scan, I will post as soon as I know.

This was taken on my phone two weeks ago, but I just figured out how to upload videos :) Sorry, my voice comes out really loud compared to Scarlett's. I'm also sorry for the lack of pictures recently, but I've been having some problems with my phone camera. I should have it figured out very soon!

Cardiology

Scarlett's cardiology visit has been moved to this coming Monday, October 4th. She'll be seeing her doctor and having a sedated lung perfusion scan and echo again. They are going to check her out and see if she will be able to wait until spring for her next surgery. There is pressure building in and around her heart from her original surgery. If/when it gets too serious, the doctors will have to open her up again and remove the extra muscle and tissue that is causing the problem. Fingers crossed, we can wait until spring. I will keep you updated as we know more.

Grandmas are the Best!

One of the amazing garage sale finds this week. Scarlett squealed and yelled, "my park!" This will keep her occupied for hours.
