Cardiology

Scarlett's cardiology visit has been moved to this coming Monday, October 4th. She'll be seeing her doctor and having a sedated lung perfusion scan and echo again. They are going to check her out and see if she will be able to wait until spring for her next surgery. There is pressure building in and around her heart from her original surgery. If/when it gets too serious, the doctors will have to open her up again and remove the extra muscle and tissue that is causing the problem. Fingers crossed, we can wait until spring. I will keep you updated as we know more.

Grandmas are the Best!

One of the amazing garage sale finds this week. Scarlett squealed and yelled, "my park!" This will keep her occupied for hours.

A Little Early

I tried to explain that it is too early to wear this hat and that it's too hot outside, but she insisted. Lol.

What a Mess!

Scarlett had a s'more for dessert two nights ago... She called it a 'candy sammich' and it was 'yum yum yummy'. :)

Doctor Appointments

We had to reschedule her cardiology appointment. It's now on October 11. We should also be seeing GI soon, but I'm not sure the exact date of the next visit. 

All Smiles

Scarlett fell out of her wagon this afternoon while playing with her Uncle Mickey. She has a huge bump on her forehead and some scrapes on her cheek and under her nose. She's all better now that she has a monkey bandage and some french fries. She's even smiling with her mouth full.

My Big Girl

No picture yet, but Scarlett is such a big girl! She now has her very own pillow to cuddle up with and rest her wild red head on at night. She picked out the fabric-it's her favorite color, purple-and is so excited about it. She's growing soo fast!

Cupcakes

Scarlett found a package of cupcakes that was left within her reach at the kitchen table. She took the package to my moms and cried out, "Lunch!" This is the result.
