Kitty Cat Song

I haven't had a chance to upload many pictures this week. I should have a chance to post some pictures tomorrow. In the meantime, Scarlett did the cutest thing tonight at bedtime and I have to share it with you. Instead of bedtime stories, she wanted to sing tonight. We sang 'Mr Moon' and 'Twinkle Twinkle', then I asked her what the last song should be. She said the kitty cat song. I thought and thought, but I couldn't think of a single song that she could be talking about. So I asked her if she would sing it to me (thinking I'd figure it out as she went). She started to sing, "Kitty cat, cat, kitty, meow, meow, cat, kitty cat, cat kitty. Yay! The end!". She made up a song! It was so adorable. Two years old and making up her own songs. My little genius. :)

Cardiology Update

Scarlett's cardio visit went super well. She weighs 27.8 lbs now (which puts her in the 50th percentile!!!) and is 34 inches tall! Dr. Foerster says she looks great and doesn't think we have anything to worry about right now. We're waiting for them to schedule the lung perfusion scan so we know for certain.

Scarlett had so much fun! I wish I had gotten more pictures, because Mal and Scarlett walked around holding hands the whole time. I didn't get any pictures of her with Hannah (Heather's other 3 year old niece). Maybe next time.

Cardiology Update

 

Scarlett's cardiology appointment is (finally) on Monday, October 18th. It's our last visit with our wonderful cardiologist, Dr. Foerster, before she moves away. :( We don't yet have the reschedule date for the Lung Perfusion Scan, I will post as soon as I know.
